This policy describes how Festival Wishes India and the services used to operate this website handle information. You can browse and download wishes without creating an account.
Hosting and security
Cloudflare hosts and delivers this website. To deliver pages and protect its services, Cloudflare processes technical request information, which may include your IP address and information about your browser and network traffic. This hosting and security processing is separate from the analytics described below. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy for details.
Analytics
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand page views, visits and page performance. Its JavaScript beacon sends usage and performance measurements to Cloudflare, and we view reports to improve the site. Cloudflare describes Web Analytics as not collecting or using visitors’ personal data. This statement applies to that analytics service, not to all hosting or email processing. We also use Cloudflare Zaraz to count a small set of Greeting Studio actions, such as opening the Studio, choosing a wish or card type, selecting Square or Status format, and copying, downloading or sharing. These events may include the festival, page language, card type, output format and action used. We do not send the wish text, names, uploaded photo, photo filename or photo contents in analytics events. This helps us understand where the Studio is useful or confusing without collecting the greeting itself.
Sharing
Copying a wish uses your device’s clipboard. When you choose WhatsApp or your device’s share option, the selected wish and page link are passed to the service you choose. That service handles information under its own privacy policy. Downloading a card saves a file to your device.
Personalized wishes and photos
The personalized-wish tool processes your custom message and recipient or sender names in your browser. Festival Wishes India does not transmit or store them while you create, and they are not added to the page URL unless you explicitly choose an optional Diwali or Dussehra surprise link described below.
Selecting a photo does not upload it to Festival Wishes India or to our servers. We do not receive, collect, store or retain the photo. Your browser reads it from your device, crops it and combines it with your wish locally on that device. The exported card is a newly rendered PNG and does not retain the original photo’s embedded metadata.
Downloading saves only the generated card to your device. If you choose Share card, your device passes the generated PNG—not the original photo file—to the service you select. Copying, Share as text and WhatsApp pass only the completed text you choose. Those services may process or retain shared content under their own privacy policies.
The optional Diwali and Dussehra surprise-link feature works differently from the private editor. When you choose to create that link, it places the selected reviewed wish identifier, approved reveal-background identifier and any recipient or sender names you entered in the link fragment (the part after #). It never includes your edited message, photo, card shape or card-design selection. Festival Wishes India does not store those names, and the fragment is not sent to our server as part of the page request, but anyone with the complete link can read them and the link may remain in browser, messaging-app or clipboard history.
Ads
Google AdSense advertising is not currently enabled. The site includes an account-verification meta tag, which is not an ad-serving script. Before enabling advertising, we will update this policy to describe the actual advertising technologies, data use and available consent choices.
Affiliate links
We do not currently publish affiliate gift guides. If we introduce affiliate links, we will identify them on the relevant pages and update this policy as needed.
